Today our Shakers Gonna Shake (shake, shake, shake, shake) series will focus on creating a flat shaker card. If you want to send a flat and mailable card, you don’t have to forego shaker card fun. Let’s see what it’s all about!
How-to Create a Flat Shaker CardMy Favorite Things Design Team member Stephanie Klauck sat down and created a fantastic tutorial for creating a flat shaker card. Take a few minutes to see how she did it by watching the video below.
See? It’s not so hard! It’s all in what you choose to put inside when it comes to flat shaker cards.
Once you have the shaker constructed, you can finish the card design in any way you’d like!
As Stephanie said, vellum softens the elements on the inside of the shaker card. By using acetate, you’ll be able to see them more clearly.
Fun, right? I wouldn’t blame you for skipping out of work early or insisting on a longer naptime today. *wink*
