Welcome to another Weekly Sketch Challenge!
Turn each inspiring sketch into a mini work of art to add to your stash — you could also add $50 worth of brand new MFT to your collection! Now that is a win-win.
Below you’ll find Sketch 512. Create cards, scrapbook layouts, home decor, treat containers, mixed media, etc. using this week’s sketch and be sure to link your project below for a chance at the weekly My Favorite Things Gift Voucher.
MFT products are encouraged but not required. We just want to see what this week’s sketch inspires you to create! You can enter your cards for this week’s challenge in the Inlinkz Link Up at the bottom of this post.
We're welcoming Lisa back to the blog today with her take on this week's sketch.
Penguins make any holiday card cuter, and Lisa's card is no exception. Lisa featured a pair of the adorable images from the Holiday Penguins stamp set on her card for this week's sketch and surrounded them with a winter wonderland. A stamped sentiment on black card stock nicely complements her finished design.
Rachel created a vibrant background on her card with ink blending, fully saturating the paper with bright blues and purples. A splattering of white paint adds the look of shining stars to her night sky, providing the perfect backdrop for her sweet images.
Barbara also featured a winter theme on her card for this week's sketch, combining beautiful shades of blue, purple, and silver to create an icy feel, reminiscent of cool, frosty days. The addition of the vellum strip further emphasizes her winter design and creates an area for her stamped sentiment.
Congratulations, Lynn! You are the randomly selected winner from last week's sketch challenge.
