Wednesday Sketch Challenge - Sketch 462

Welcome to another Weekly Sketch Challenge!

Turn each inspiring sketch into a mini work of art to add to your stash — you could also add $50 worth of brand new MFT to your collection! Now that is a win-win.

Below you’ll find Sketch 462. Create cards, scrapbook layouts, home decor, treat containers, mixed media, etc. using this week’s sketch and be sure to link your project below for a chance at the weekly My Favorite Things Gift Voucher.

MFT products are encouraged but not required. We just want to see what this week’s sketch inspires you to create! You can enter your cards for this week’s challenge in the Inlinkz Link Up at the bottom of this post.

We're welcoming a brand new guest designer to the Sketch Challenge this month. Join us in extending a warm hello to Cassie Tezak!

Cassie created an embossed background combining white with kraft for a timeless look. She colored her Sassy Skater with soft pinks and browns to coordinate with her backdrop, and added a stamped sentiment banner to complete her design.

Angelica replaced the heart element on the sketch with a large die cut poinsettia in a fun mix of purples for an unexpected look. A tone-on-tone background was created by stenciling her design in coordinating ink and card stock colors, while the simple stamped sentiment completes her design with a festive greeting.

Joy kept her design very similar to the sketch and added a large stitched heart as a backdrop for her sweet Snow Buddies character. A stamped sentiment banner tucked under her main stamped image adds a cohesive look to her design and adds a border between her white card base and plaid patterned paper panel.

Congratulations, Melissa! You are the randomly selected winner of last week’s sketch challenge.

You can view all the entries for last week’s challenge HERE.

Now, it’s your turn. You have until November 12 at noon EST to add your link and be eligible for the prize of $50 in MFT Cash to be spent in the MFT boutique. Winners are chosen at random, so everyone has a chance!
