The idea of coloring a full panel card front may seem intimidating, but one of the many great things about Sandy is that she shows you how attainable it actually is, even when you're creating the background without the aid of scene-building stamps! You're going to love her tips for focusing on nailing details on one or two of your stamped elements (hello blue hair and easy polka dots!) and using easy, bold swathes of color to create your scenery. Flutterby Friends is the perfect choice for illustrating her tips! Check out what she's created, then scroll to the end of today's post for information about a Facebook Live event happening TONIGHT. Hope to see you there!
Hi beautiful! It’s me, Sandy Allnock, here with another coloring video — a sweet little girl making friends with a winged buddy...a pileup of puffy white summer clouds in the distance!
In the video I’ll go through the coloring of the girl, especially that yummy hair and pretty blue dress. And don’t worry, polka dots can hide any problems we have with the fabric folds!
Wasn’t that fun? I just love how that background happened! I love the results when I feel bold enough to choose a darker-than-usual blue for the sky.
If you want to try this, grab all your markers to get ready to join in! Here they are:
Did I make you a believer about putting blue underneath the black hair you color? I love adding blues and purples underneath!

I meant the little butterfly girl she is cute I step outside every morning just to see what beauty awaits the day. If we notice the flowers and the butterfly’s we smile and should remind us to smile at each other to especially in this trying time.
She is darling looks like me in the morning trying to wake up. Beautiful blue blends.
