This Week on MFTv: Spotlight Ink Blending with Michelle Short
While spotlight techniques are typically accomplished by coloring stamped images, in today's episode of MFTv, Michelle demonstrates how effective ink blending can be in highlighting the beauty of a stamped image. The Wild Poppies image is an ideal candidate for this technique. The design's intricate nature looks lovely in crisp black and is detailed enough to create interest without extensive coloring. Michelle opted to die cut circles to craft her card, but other shapes would work just as well — experimenting with different shapes and how they can be positioned in relation to each other is part of the fun of creating!

Love this technique! Thanks for sharing! :-)
I loved this card. What a cool technique. Of course the sample was made with my favorite colors. I can’t wait to try this technique.
Very elegant. I like the way you made the circles.
very pretty card, with beautiful coloring technique
What a delightful card—and helpful way to create it. I’m thinking that it would work as a “two-for” if the second card is created from the unused color base but placing cut out uncolored circles into it…a reverse effect. Thanks for the inspiration. Stay well.
Very pretty card. Such a creative technique. Thank you.
cool technique – thanks for sharing
