Hello, Insiders!
The purrfect pets in the Caticorn collection are already pretty magical. Beyond your typical coloring however, their horns, tails, and cute little bodies present an excellent opportunity for you to play with other techniques as well. Up the fairy-tale factor by choosing a whimsical palette of colors (our pick is rainbow, obviously!), adding glitter or sparkles, or even imparting a dainty pattern! Our designers are up to the task and we can’t wait to share what they’ve created this month.
Barbara pulled the soft pastel palette she used to color her Caticorn horn and rainbow from the dainty floral print she chose to paper piece her pretty kitty. And don't you love how she slightly extended her scene beyond the bounds of her sparkly frame? The scene feels contained still but with a touch of whimsy that works so well with the images and sentiment choice.
