You Are Not Alone Card Kit Spotlight

Feeling alone can be an sad place to be. It can make you feel alone, and light can be hard to find. The April You’re Not Alone Card Kit brings beauty, support, and reminders that we are not alone - that we have people we can lean on. In times of loneliness, a card can go a long way if it reminds the recipient that someone was thinking about them.

Today, we're spotlighting a couple of the release cards created by design team member Tiffany. The beauty of her cards, featuring her own unique style, would surely lift the spirits of anyone lucky enough to receive them! Let's look a little closer at her process.

This first card features so many different elements, which combined create the rich beauty of the card. Rather than leaving the die-cut elements one solid cardstock color, the flowers were ink blended, and the greenery was colored with a little alcohol marker, which adds so much depth and dimension. They are sitting on a gorgeous, ink-smooshed background. STAX dies were used to create the shapes, and two colors of Soft Stripes patterned papers were combined. There's even a little stenciling in the background. And the white splatters tie everything together!

Tiffany's second card is so clever! She decorated a heart die with the die-cut pieces from Show of Support, adding gel pen details. Another wonderful touch is behind the heart. A panel of striped paper was die cut using the Stitched Square Scallop Edge Frames Die-namics, with the inner square rotated to add interest. What a great look!
