When will my order ship?
We work hard to ship as quickly as possible as we know how important your MFT goodies are! Most orders leave our warehouse within 1-2 business days.  You will receive tracking information once your order has shipped.

Can you alter the customs form to reflect a lower value or mark as a gift?
Your customs forms will reflect the actual amount paid for your products and shipping, as required by law.

Where can I find retired MFT products?
We suggest looking in the MFT Buy/Sell/Trade group on Facebook HERE.

I am organizing a craft-related event and would like to request a donation. What should I do?
Please email details about your event to hello@mftstamps.com with your request.

Can I add items to an order I just placed?
We cannot add items or amend an order once it is placed. If your order is currently "pending", you are welcome to place an additional order and then immediately email us at hello@mftstamps.com with both order numbers and request that we combine them. We'll issue a return store credit for any additional shipping charges paid (when applicable).

Having trouble with a stamp set?
We suggest conditioning all clear stamps for the best-stamped images. You can do so by rubbing the raised side of the stamp on the palm of your hand, wiping clean, and then ink and stamp as usual with our Premium Dye or Hybrid Inks. We do not recommend to use an eraser as this can damage your stamp. When stamping the image in the ink, tap with even pressure to ensure the image is not being twisted. For cleaning, we use and recommend the absorber (this is a car product that you can typically find at any local big box store). You use this with water to ensure an easy and nice clean for your stamps to help remove any ink in the grooves. If you run into any other troubles and this information isn't helping, please reach out to us at hello@mftstamps.com so we can assist further.

Having trouble with a Die-namics?
We suggest using the Large Metal Adapter Plate found HERE for any intricate Die-namics to ensure the die-cutting machine is able to apply ample pressure for a clean and easy cut. We also suggest placing the die vertically on the cutting plate rather than horizontally as this improves the die cuts drastically when the machine is able to apply as much pressure as possible as it's running through the machine. We have an example of running the die through your machine vertically HERE

How can I line up my stamps and dies best?
The order of either die-cutting and stamping or stamping and then die-cutting is personal preference. We find it easier to die-cut first and then stamp on top, especially when the Die-namics is solid. This way we are able to line up the stamp better, typically looking top to bottom, and side to side. Since the stamp is clear, we've had better success with positioning the clear stamp over the die cut, rather than the die over the stamped image. You can view our Tips & Tricks: Die-cutting video tutorial HERE.

An item I want is out of stock, what do I do?
We do not backorder items and the website will not allow an order to complete with an item that is not available in stock to ship with your order. We do have the option to select any out of stock item and select "notify me". If you are logged into your MFT account, your email address is immediately added to our out of stock subscription list. If you are not logged in, you will see a blank white box to enter your email address and select the "subscribe" button. Once the item returns back in stock, you will be notified via email that the item is now available to purchase.

What is the difference between Heavyweight and Prestige Card Stock?
Our Heavyweight Card Stock line has 25 sheets per package. The Prestige Card Stock is from a different manufacturer and a more expensive card stock, and has 15 sheets per package.

What is the difference between Premium Dye and Hybrid Ink?
Dye inks are fast-drying, can be used to add color to sprays and pastes, and provide great coverage for solid stamps. These inks will not work with alcohol markers and are not recommended for projects that require permanent ink, such as water coloring.

Hybrid inks are fast-drying, non-fading, waterproof on paper surfaces, and permanent when heat-set. Hybrid inks are ideal for use with alcohol-based markers. A lot of customers use the Hybrid inks with Copic markers and on mixed media projects.

Can I use multiple payment methods on my order?
We do not have an option to split the payment of your order. We suggest purchasing an MFT e-gift card HERE with one payment method or your prepaid gift card. Once you receive the email with the redemption code, enter this in your shopping cart under "gift card". The remaining balance will show and can be paid with any debit / credit card or Paypal Express.
