Dive Into a New Artistic Adventure ☀️🌴🌊🍹
Every week when I sit down to create our weekly newsletter, even if it's hectic while I'm doing it, I try to slow down so I can really see what's been created and appreciate it. I really feel so blessed seeing what the DT has designed because they are all fantastic. This week is no exception.
Last week's Challenge winner is @papergemsbyjules. I love her unicorn card! Julissa, please email me at hello@mftstamps.com and I will send over your voucher. :-)
When I saw this weeks colors, I immediately thought of being on an island, on vacation, sipping a delicious cocktail in the sun. That could've also come to mind because I would LOVE to be planning a vacation right about now. I'm pretty sure some of you are with me, right? I'd be willing to bet the percentage is pretty high.
I'm right, huh? I can hear the sound of waves already. 🌊🌊🛳️🌊🌊
Candice has hit the ball so far out of the stadium I don't even have words. This card is amazing! I also like the colored card stock she put behind her card. It really works with her card and gives it an extra oomph.
I love Jess's journal pages. I would love a journal like that but know I would never use it, instead keeping it on my desk for general browsing LOL. I love that she added the small bubbles from the set onto her card. BTW - this card also is vacation reminiscent, isn't it?
Ice cream can go with most anything in the world, am I right? If I had to pick one unhealthy-ish food item to bring with me for my whole life it would be ice cream. And Jeanne has created this really sweet cat holding an even sweeter cone. And you know the best part? I love ice cream especially on vacation!
Zoe's soda trio card is amazing! I'm going to assume it was done on purpose, but the stars in the background are heavier in the center of the card solidifying the fizzing of the soda bottles that you can probably already hear by now.
I am dang near positive, by at least 89%, you already know where I'm going with this card, don't you. You are smarter than the average bear, clearly, and can see how quickly a leap is made from lemonade to lemon drop. 😉
While I enjoy a good lemon drop every now and again, my main drink of choice is an apple martini, so sub in a green drink instead of a yellow one, and add a little vodka. And I bet I don't even need to tell you when a cocktail is at its very best, do I? Say it with me now...ON VACATION!
