And Friday is here! Time to celebrate the onset of another glorious weekend. Hope you’ve got some plans to shake up some fun!
Speaking of shaking… we’ve got one more amazing shaker tutorial video, one more adorable shaker card (seriously, just wait ’til you see!), and one more awesome shaker-tastic prize!
Today our Shakers Gonna Shake (shake, shake, shake, shake) series will focus on creating a peek-a-boo shaker card. If you ask me, this technique will take your shaker card obsession to new heights!
Creating a Peek-a-Boo Shaker Card
Wasn’t that tip for “deadening” the adhesive awesome? Baby powder — it’s not just for babies anymore!
I love how Kimberly chose various sizes of sequins and beads that look like water and bubbles to further her fishbowl theme. Little details like that can make your card even more cohesive and special.
Don’t forget to make the inside cute, too! Kimberly’s video has great ideas about how to make it work with your peek-a-boo shaker.
What do you say? Hasn’t this week been a blast? A HUGE round of applause for Kimberly, Stephanie, and the members of the My Favorite Things Design Team and the MFT Challenge & Inspiration Team for their creative ideas. We are indebted to them!
