Craft Ahead, Worry Behind – Encouragement

I don’t know about you, but I often find myself in need of get well and sympathy cards. It’s sad but true, and when you come right down to it, sometimes those are the cards that mean the very most. Let’s take some time today to find ideas to make these cards that send encouragement and love to those who need it the most.

Each day this week we will be sharing some of MFT’s greatest hits based on card themes that you use the most often — thank you, celebrations, get well, sympathy, encouragement, hello, and birthday cards. Pin the ones that you love on your Pinterest boards and then once things settle down a bit, use these cards as inspiration to get your stash well-stocked for the year. Won’t that be a great feeling?

While you’re at it, be sure to follow My Favorite Things on Pinterest so that you won’t miss one fantastic project, tutorial, or video!

Here are 8 card ideas for making encouraging cards like get well and sympathy that you can pin for later inspiration! Below each individual photo, you will find a direct link to the original post of the card if you are interested in products and/or techniques.

We’ll be giving away another $25 gift certificate on Instagram, so be sure to comment there for a second chance to win. All winners will be announced on Monday, December 21, so make sure to check back to see if your name is on the list!
