Wishing You a Holiday Filled with Joy

Today, we welcome Rhea Weigand to the blog for the first of two posts this week.

Hello, I am excited to be guest designing for My Favorite Things today and again later this week. Today I am sharing with you, Filled With Joy. Isn’t this just adorable?

Handmade card from Rhea Weigand featuring products from My Favorite Things #mftstamps

I decided to add one of my favorite MFT background stamps — I didn’t realize it was no longer available until I started writing this post. Sorry, I can’t share that with you, but I have it and will continue to use it ?

To make the card I used the Stitched Mod Square STAX simply by leaving the top cut line just above the fold line on the card. There are so many cool things you could create with these shapes.

The Copics I used are:

Face: E50, 51, 21, 93

Dress: YG 61, 63, 67

Stocking: R14, 46, 59 with E41, 43, 47 (also used for hair)

Shoes: C3, 5, 7

The MFT Hybrid Inks I used are Black Licorice, Electric Red, and Jellybean Green.

Thank you for visiting today and helping me support MFT!  There is so much inspiration on their blog and it’s amazing how much their online store has grown. Their stamp pads are amazing! Their dies are wonderful. It’s all just so much fun to shop and browse!

Your card is gorgeous! I love the special touches of your doodling and lovely coloring. That gingham background is one of my favorites too and I’m still going to use it!
