Deck the Halls with Boughs of Holly in This Week’s MFTv

A Christmas tree branch evokes so many holidays feelings. It conjures memories of hanging favorite keepsake ornaments on the tree, immediately brings to mind that unmistakable piney scent, and helps us envision a home adorned for the holidays. Stephanie wanted to recreate that feeling for this week’s card, and despite not having the perfect stamp image for the branch she visualized, she’s managed to bring her vision to life anyway.

Improvisational crafting sometimes produces the best possible outcome — this tree bough Stephanie created with a simple bit of greenery proves that. Don’t be limited by what you *think* you have…you’ll be pleasantly surprised by what you can create with what you have on hand.

This is awesome! I forget to “think outside the set” so often and it’s a great reminder that combining and creating is always so much fun. Thanks for sharing and the inspiration.

Thanks so much for sharing this card and how you made it. It’s so helpful to see how someone else uses their stamps in a new way, improvising to get the look they want! Turned out great!
