Roses All Over Greetings

This month, we’re so pleased to have Heather Pulvirenti sharing some projects featuring our May Release.

Hello! Heather P. here today to share two fun cards I’ve created with some of the gorgeous goodies from MFT’s newest release. I’m so excited to be guest blogging today, so let’s jump right on in! 🙂

My first card features the Roses All Over Pastels Paper Pack, Bold Stripes Cover-Up Die-namics, Stitched Circle Stax Die-namics, and the Exquisite Ocean stamp set and coordinating Die-namics. To create my card, I started by first creating a card base using Pink Lemonade Card Stock. I then used the Bold Stripes Cover-Up on a piece of Sweet Tooth Card Stock, and set the large die-cut piece aside. The negative die pieces (white strips of card stock) were adhered to the card front.

I used the Stitched Circle Stax on the orange roses pattern and adhered the die cut to the card front using foam tape. Next, I stamped one of the leaf images from the Exquisite Ocean stamp set in gray ink, and cut it out using the coordinating die. The sentiment was die cut from Sweet Tooth Card Stock using the Hello There Die-namics. To finish up, the sentiment and die-cut leaf were adhered to the card front, and I embellished with silver enamel dots.

My second card features the Roses All Over Pastels Paper Pack, Bold Stripes Cover-Up Die-namics, and the Hello There Die-namics. To create my card, I used the large leftover die cut from the first card that I created and adhered it to a white card base. I laid the die face up on my die cutting platform and topped it with small strips of patterned paper from the Roses All Over Pastels Paper Pack.

Once the die was run through the machine, I popped out all of the trimmed strips and adhered them to the card front inside the negative spaces. To finish up, I die cut the sentiment using the Hello There Die-namics and Wild Wisteria Card Stock and adhered it to the card base before embellishing with silver enamel dots.

Well, that wraps it up for me today! 🙂 Thank you so much for stopping by, and to My Favorite Things for the opportunity to guest design with their amazing products!

I love that background die. I like how you used the rose background paper in each of the negative space. Looks great. Thank you.

So cool to see Heather P rocking the MFT goodies! I’ve been a fan of hers for a while. I love how she puts colors together. Really cute cards and I’m pretty sure I’ll be scraplifting them!
