Count down to the Big Day in Style with Today’s Crafty Project
Advent calendars are a tradition for many families. Not only do they act as a festive bit of holiday decor, but they also serve a tremendous purpose. How many of us have contended with the dreaded “how many days until Christmas?” question more times than we could possibly count?
A project like this takes some planning and can be a labor-intensive process, but as Karolyn points out in her video, an advent calendar can be used for many years to come, establishing memories that your children and grandchildren will treasure for decades. *That* is priceless and certainly worthy of the effort. Start now, and you have more than a month to complete this project…stitch while bingeing on a favorite show, sitting in the carpool line, or waiting for appointments and you’ll undoubtedly be able to knock out 25 tags before December 1 hits.
Today’s Craft – Advent Calendar
In this video, Karolyn shares FOUR ways to use these tags as the starting point for your calender. From daily activities to small gifts, she’s thought of everything. Karolyn even shares some tips for creating your own tag patterns — she provides a wealth of information!

Karolyn is one very crafty lady…. I think this calendar is so amazing. In today’s business we need to schedule times for being a family. This really works at that. Having parents that both work and children who are so involved in school activities you really need a calendar! Thanks for the patterns and for getting us thinking…..
