Camp Create Bonus: Gather ‘Round the Campfire

We’ve been having the best time this week and even though our August session is wrapping up in the morning and we’ll be wishing you all a fond farewell, we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to gather our friends around the campfire for one last s’more, one last Kumbaya, and one bonus technique from counselor Stephanie.

Are you wondering if we have a special bonfire badge? Of course we have a special bonfire badge! If there’s one thing we crafters love, it’s flair, amirite? Download it now to add to your collection!

Do we have a bonus prize for our bonfire craft? Of course we have a bonus prize. Participate in our Bonfire craft and you might just win a $50 MFT voucher.

Clean the ooey-gooey marshmallow off your hands…it’s time to tackle our bonfire craft.

I love the ombre technique, it really makes a lot of great cards with one layer which is way easier to mail. I love the look of the clouds on the last card. Never done this with the Copic’s but will now, thanks

This was a fun one! I need lots of practice with ink blending to get a better ombre, but thanks for stretching me! 🙂

Piggy cuteness with this ombre technique. I have today off from work so I’m going to get caught up with Day 3-5 and bonus here and hopefully I can get them done in time to enter.

Fun card! Takes me back to when I decided to collect piggies…until they took over the house. I have a few of my favorites left, but I fear what will happen if I start again with pig stamps!! I have been playing along this week and actually took some photos (even the failures !). I even went to the InLinks. Just a thought for your consideration: not all of us have blogs who would like to play, and the first item you need to sign up for InLinks is a URL for your blog. `And…I don’t do social media either. I tried facebook for a while and discovered it was sucking my time for very little return and made me privy to conversations that were none of my business. Thanks for the fun week and the chance to try some new techniques or to practice some others that I clearly need help with!

Hi Stephanie. Loved the ombre effect you got with all your colouring. The cards are super cute too. You gave the colours you used to create the grass but not the sky. Was it tumbled glass? Thanks so much. Your sky is much more vibrant than mine, but I’m not terribly good at inking, but have some distress oxide inks coming which I hope will improve my inking ability. Thanks for sharing. I’ll miss these camp create videos!!!!!!
