WSC – Birthday Card Bonanza (1.13.10)

Welcome to the first Wednesday Stamp Club of 2010!

This week we are creating quick, simple and fun birthday cards. I always find myself needing a birthday card, and inevitably end up making one at the last second possible, so would like to get a jump start this year!

This weeks Stamp Club is not only about getting organized, but also shows how to use open line art images WITHOUT coloring them in!

MFT is known for its open line art images, and while that’s a plus when you are as addicted to coloring as I am, it does not come in handy when you have 15 minutes to make a card.

To make it super simple, I’ve created 4 (yes, read it and weep, 4!) cards using MFT images and did NO coloring. Heck, I took it one step further and even added a video! See how thoughtful I am?

Thoughtful, yes; videographer, no. This is my first ever video, and as it turns out I have MUCH to learn about iMovie. Sigh. But there’s always tomorrow…

If you’d like to see it a bit larger, or subscribe to the MFT Channel, HERE is a link to YouTube.

Here are pics of the four cards I created for this weeks Birthday Card Bonanza:

This week make sure to upload your creation to the SCS gallery by using keyword MFTWSC011310 AND/OR upload it to your blog. Either way, head back here and link it below in our Mr. Linky box for your chance to win a PRIZE!  What can you win?  A $15 gift voucher to the MFT Store!

Are you ready for this weeks Scoop Special?  We’ve got two!  How’s that for a treat?

*Wednesday Only – ALL orders receive a FREEBIE!  Something fun, fabulous and FREE!

*Wednesday through Sunday – All orders receive a FREE Single Digi Paper Pack!  Add the single paper pack you would like to your cart and enter code GETDIGI at checkout to deduct $3.00.

You MUST add your selection to your cart or you will not receive it.

You MUST add the code GETDIGI in the area that says discount codes/gift vouchers or your order total will not be discounted.

That is the best blog for anyone who desires to seek out out about this topic. You notice a lot its almost laborious to argue with you (not that I really would want?aHa). You positively put a brand new spin on a topic thats been written about for years…

Sorry for the huge review, but I’m really loving the new Zune, and hope this, as well as the excellent reviews some other people have written, will help you decide if it’s the right choice for you.

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.

This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like ‘Mixview’ that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you’re listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of “neighbors” will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.
