The April Release Countdown Begins
Oh, baby! Spring is about rebirth and renewal as flowers poke their way up through cold dirt and buds sprout fresh on the trees. This month, we’re featuring a variety of products that spotlight “the new” – accomplishments, achievements, and milestones. Over the next week, we’ll share all of our new April, 2014 products as well as spotlight them in use on our talented creative team member blogs. Ready?
- You can enter to win by commenting on each of the seven countdown posts on the MFT Blog before Noon EST on April 8. Please leave only one comment per person, per day.
- One winner will be randomly selected from each countdown day, and all winners will be announced at 8PM EST on April 8 on the MFT Blog.
It’s hip to be square and our Blueprints 14 Die-namics is a great starting point for your next hip card project. Whether you use the provided digital sketches or mix-and-match with other Blueprints in the series, you’ll have a stunning card in a matter of minutes. This set includes a stitched panel and layering square with a single rounded corner for added interest. Add more layers to build a feminine and floral scene or button things up for something more masculine. Use the cut and re-cut technique with the peek-a-boo hole element to add a dotted edge to any piece. Whichever look you choose, Blueprints 14 is just the ticket.
The Beautiful Baby stamps and Die-namics from Lisa Johnson Designs is a darling duo perfect for creating baby shower invitations, thank you cards, birth announcements, gift tags, and scrapbook layouts – all devoted to the new little ones in your life. Create die cuts perfectly sized to the coordinating stamp images and complete the look with sentiments designed in a charming mix of fonts.
Star light, star bright, the first stars you see tonight will be the ones covering your next project. Use inks, mists, or emboss the Starry Night Stencil to add a blanket of twinkling stars to your cards and projects.
We have some BIG news this month! Say hello to our new line of Hybrid Inks. These pigment based inks dry like dye inks and are permanent on paper surfaces, acid-free, archival, and fade resistant. These inks feature a raised felt pad and are slightly larger than our current ink pads. Inks can be heat set on glass, fabric, wood, plastic, metal, and clay. As these inks are fast drying and waterproof, they cannot be embossed with embossing powder.
For this initial release we have twelve colors, in both ink pad and refill formats, that coordinate with our existing Replenishments products. Buy each color individually OR get the entire twelve color collection, in either pads or refills, for the price of eleven. We’re excited about the possibilities this new formula offers and we know you’ll love them as much as we do!
This month, we’re so pleased to have Debbie Olson joining us as our Guest Designer. You can find Debbie at her blog, Thinking Inking. We’ll be sharing her wonderful projects featuring our April Release throughout the countdown – welcome, Debbie!
So, you’ve seen the first day of peeks…now, onto the projects! Click through to each of our Design Team member blogs to see what they’ve created with these inspiring new products. And remember, the fun is just beginning. We’ll be here every day until the new releases become available on April 8!
