Hello! I’m Amy Kolling and I’m just so excited to be guest designing for My Favorite Things today – I can hardly believe it! I got to play with some amazing Die-namics and stamps. With school having recently started for my kids, I thought I’d use the Red Delicious Die-namics and pair it with the Peek-a-Boo Alphabet Uppercase Die-namics for a teacher card. RedDeliciousAmy I die cut the letters into a black card stock panel and gently rubbed white ink onto it with my finger to get that chalkboard effect. The apple, which I die cut with Electric Red Card Stock and Gumdrop Green Card Stock, was added to the card front with foam adhesive. I cut the small banner with a die from Blueprints 16 and stamped a sentiment from Just the Way You Are. For the final touch, I added an MFT button stitched in place with crochet thread. RedDeliciousAmy3 I am quite a fan of shaped cards and the Red Delicious Die-namics is the perfect size to make them. I die cut my apple image, again with Electric Red Card Stock and Gumdrop Green Card Stock, adding letters with the Peek-a-Boo Alphabet Uppercase Die-namics. I made sure to place the fold of the white card base just under the cut line of the die so that I was left with the fold after die cutting. This card will be perfect to attach to a small gift or as a tag for a teacher. RedDeliciousAmy2 Lots of thanks go out to My Favorite Things for having me showcase their products!
