Just one more night…

Hi all!  I wanted to show off a few of the samples from this months release.  This Flopsey was created by Susan Liles, I LOOOOVVVE her!!!  WIth her precious pink bow!

Jessie created this Who’s That e-Girl? sample, I am do loving the detail on the couch!

This It’s a Cupcake Kind of Day is from Ana, it totally looks good enough to eat!

Susan Liles made this one of Geranium, and that image just pops off the page!

Candice, who was our featured stamper this month, created this sample.  It was such a joy having her as our first ever featured stamper!  We will have a new featured stamper joining us next month so if you’d like to be part of the MFTeam, post away on your blogs and galleries with your MFT creations!  Make sure to list MFT in the keyword section so we see it.

A Treat Winner!

This beauty was created by Shannan for the November release, and even though I was busy seeing Tina Turner LIVE, the party was a rousing success!  Cammie and Jody did a GREAT job hostessing, and of course as I read back through all the posts, I can see there was no shortage of chatting and fun!

All the November sets are live now, you can check them out HERE and there is still time to take advantage of the Free set offer when ordering the November collection!  Here are some deets about that:

If you purchase the November Collection within the first 48 hours (you have until Friday night at midnight EST) you receive one FREE set! You can choose from:

Gardener Flopsey

Now that’s a SERIOUS bonus!!! You MUST list your set choice in the comments section, and you only qualify for a free set IF you purchase the November Collection before Friday night at midnight EST.

Jennifer Fleetwood is the winner of the MFTreat!  Please email me at kim@mftstamps.com with your addy and I’ll pop it in the mail!!!

On another note, I wanted to take a moment to mention the experience I had while watching the election results Tuesday night, and I want to preface this by saying I am not telling you who I voted for, nor do I want to know who you voted for.  My intention in sharing my experience is one of absolute pride, and has nothing to do with party affiliation of any sort.

When our President elect was announced, I was not prepared for the overwhelming emotion I felt. Not because a particular person or party had won, but because for one moment in time, we, as one nation, under God, were color blind.  I felt a huge paradigm shift, I don’t know how to explain it, but I hope you felt it as well.  Something changed in that moment, for good, and I hope, forever.  In that moment, I sincerely felt our Father, in whatever form or fashion you worship It, was smiling proudly.

I just wanted to share that and hope that some of you also felt it, I can’t be the only sap can I?  I have seriously never cried after an election before, I don’t know that it will ever happen again, but it sure happened Tuesday night!

Have a great Thursday!

Release Day Blog HOP!

Happy Release Day everyone!  I am SO stinkin’ excited about these new sets I can barely contain myself!  This is the most fun part of my “job”, showing you what we’ve been hard at work on all month long.  This beauty features It’s a Cupcake Kind of Day! by Jessie Rone, isn’t is delightful?

We are having our first ever release day Blog HOP!  I’m up first this time, so next on the list is THE fabulously talented Ana, so check her out for further instructions and the next blog on the trail. There might be something worth playing for at the end of the hop….I’m just sayin’…

We hope to see you tonight at the release party, I’ve started an insider thread to start filling everyone in on some of the silliness we’ve experienced during our MFT travels, I thought it would be fun to know the back stories, so everyone can jump into the parties with both feet, completely in the loop!

I also hope you’re enjoying the newsletter Teasers and full pics, the feedback so far is GREAT!  Next week we’ll be unrolling a WHOLE NEW What’s Up Wednesday (WUW), filled with fun and good times, so stay tuned!

Go vote!

I don’t care who you vote for, just vote!  How about some candy to get everyone to the polls and then ready for new stamps tomorrow night, with a new President elect???

Leave a numbered post here and tomorrow afternoon I’ll choose a winner for the new It’s a Cupcake Kind of Day! sample set.

Please don’t leave who you voted for, I won’t tell you who I’m voting for, this is just about exercising our collective voices and having some fun!

MFTeaser Day 2…

It’s Teaser Day 2 for our November releases, and first up is It’s a Cupcake Kind of Day, by November’s Guest Designer, Julie Dinn!

I am truly loving this months releases, so much that we are sending out e-newsletters Mon, Tues and Wed to give you pics of selected sets and projects made with them!  For those that have received the newsletter, do you like the new format?  Do you like seeing the full set or do you prefer the anticipation of release night?  If you don’t receive it and would like to, there is a box on the bottom right side of my blog, just above the Stamping Top 50 button that says “Wanna get the Brand Spankin’ News?”  If you enter  your email addy, you’ll be added and will receive the next copy!

Also, if you haven’t heard, there’s a new community out there…Paper Craft Planet, and MFT has a group you can join!  Click HERE to come visit and join the MFTers!

Tomorrow, we will have out first ever release BLOG HOP and there’s a prize at the end of the chain!

It's almost time for the Nov Releases!

Here’s a little ditty from Joanne featuring this months Flopsey set, Cupcake Flopsey!  I’ll be posting MFTeasers all week long gearing up for the release this Wednesday night, 9-11pm EST on our SCS Forum!  To get things started, how about our release teaser poem?

Who’s That e-Girl? is sure to release with a bang,
Paying homage to the stamping community gang.
Yes, she’s just like us, with computer in hand,
Chatting with cyber sisters all over this land.

Flopsey this month is THE cutest for sure,
With a cupcake in hand, it’s appeal will endure.

And speaking of cupcakes, we’ve got those too!
Big enough to embellish, not just one, but two!

Dearest Annie is back with two lovely new sets,
Making this month, as always, as good as it gets!

We are back this month with what I think is our strongest release ever! Just in time for holiday card making, especially those that give gift sets of cards during the holiday season. I don’t think there’s a better gift around!

This Wednesday night, from 9-11pm EST, we will be hosting our November Release party, and we hope you’ll join us!

The First 50 this month will receive a Memento Dew Drop in Rich Cocoa or Tuxedo Black, and I’ll post the last order number right before the sets go live at 10:30PM EST.

This month, we thought we would do something very special for those that attend our release parties and pick up the Collection (all of the sets released that month) within the first 48 hours. So we’ve decided instead of a piddly discount, we’re giving you a FREE set!!

If you purchase the November Collection within the first 48 hours (you have until Friday night at midnight EST) you receive one FREE set! You can choose from:

Gardener Flopsey
Going Places
Gone to the Dogs
What’s the Story
Rain or Shine

Now that’s a SERIOUS bonus!!! You MUST list your set choice in the comments section, and you only qualify for a free set IF you purchase the November Collection before Friday night at midnight EST.

You can check out the incredible DT Teasers HERE, and get ready to PARTY Wednesday night!

Did you see this? The first ever MFT Star Stamper card!

Isn’t this such a sweet card?  It’s made by Janna Hull for Jen’s SFYTT.  I thought it would be fun to post cards made by MFT Customers in addition to the work from the DT, so am starting a Friday Star Stamper feature!  Each Friday, I will peruse the gallery in search of a sweet MFT card to feature on my blog, and will send a note notifying the author of the selection, and will send them a $5 gift cert toward their next purchase!

I also wanted to mention the WUW special of the week is still going on through midnight tonight, so happy shopping!  You can find out more HERE.

I posted a note in our Forum asking you for feedback and suggestions regarding the monthly releases, so please check it out and keep those ideas coming!  The feedback and suggestions so far have been fabulous, and I can’t wait to hear more!

We’ve also migrated to a new enewsletter format, which is much simpler to operate and much cleaner to read (except for this past Wed when I obviously had a shortage of coffee)!

What's Up Wednesday? (10/29/08)

Hi all!  I wanted to show you how I use my Peerless Watercolors and Perfect Palette.  I used a small square punch to punch out sections of my Peerless Watercolors and mounted them to an 8.5 x 11 sheet of cardstock.  This way I can see my entire color palette at a glance and when one square is used up, I can restock that color.  I also wrote the color name below the square swatch and put a touch of the color next to the name so I will know for sure what color I’m grabbing.

The biggest reason I really love these watercolors is that by using my Perfect Palette, I can easily blend the pure color with water to achieve the exact color match I’m looking for!

I use the palette for my watercoloring, but also for Copic Marker blending as well!  I can’t describe how incredible this palette is, you’re simply going to have to take my word for it until you get it in your own hands and explore.

So What’s Up for THIS Wednesday?  How about a free Perfect Palette with orders over $40 from now until midnight Friday?  SImple mention Perfect Palette in the comments section, and I’ll take care of the rest!!

I also have a bunch of cruise news to post including the fabulous ladies I got to spend time with, so stay tuned!
