Storage box deets and Stephanie Fizer news!

I promised some pics of the storage cases, and how many sets they each hold, so here are some up close pics!  Inside this one case, I have 3 sets.  Two 4 x 6 sets and 1 4 x 8 set.  The boxes are 4 x 6″, so in order to add the stamp sets, I trimmed the edges of the plastic sheets the stamps come sandwiched between.  Be careful not to snip your stamps though!  For the 4 x 8 set, I basically cut the set in half, again, not cutting the images, just dividing the sheet into two pieces.  There is still some room in this case, so I really could add another MINI set if I wanted, just to give you an idea of the room inside.

They will be sold, starting tonight during our release party, held HERE!

I am playing around with different labeling options, and the most effective for me has been to put an avery label on the top back of the case, and write the set names enclosed inside.  I’d love to hear your ideas as well!

They will be sold in sets of 4, retailing for $12.  The reason for this is simply that I will have to ship them in boxes to avoid them being broken in transit, and need to make it as cost effective as possible so I can offer them to all of you!

I also wanted to let you know there has been much more demand for the Stephanie Fizer sets than I anticipated with my wholesale accounts, so these are in limited quantity.  These include Peppermint Cats, A Scarf for Three and Christmas Owls.

Should you order the October collection, there is a possibility that one or more of these sets will be backordered, and should that be the case, we will ship them separately at no additional cost to you.

I know many of you want to take advantage of the Free Shipping Promo for the next 48 hours, so I am leaving the October Collection on the site, and taking a minute to make you aware that these will sell out, and keep you in the loop!

I’ve ordered more, but it will be about two weeks before they come in!

It's release day!!!

Good morning!!!  There’s lots of news to share today, so let’s get to it!  Tonight, from 9-11pm EST, we are hosting our New Release party right HERE!  The sets will go love at 10:30pm EST, but you’ll want to join the party before hand to find out the code for 48 hours of FREE SHIPPING!  Yep!  You read right!  The link above has all the deets.

This boxy bag, template courtesy of Jody Morrow, features Reading Flopsey, one of our new releases.  I made this to say Happy Birthday to a special friend of mine (special is completely the right word…) Carole Burrage.  I made Flopsey a blonde chick with glasses, just like Carole!  I also thought it was appropriate to use this for her b-day project since she created the sentiment in this set.  It’s stamped on the inside of the boxy bag, which is filled with white prima flowers so she can color them to match her project.

I also want to announce the winner of the MFT Storage Case and two set Treat below, and that is #26 Kathy!  Email me at kim@mftstamps.com with your addy and I’ll pop it in the mail!

You can also check out the new forum on the website, pop by and say hi or ask a question, we’d love to hear from you!

I married my hubby, Martin.  THE greatest hubby in the world and one for which I am eternally grateful, every single day.  I love you handsome, with all my heart, forever…

I used one of the new sets coming out TOMORROW (can you believe it’s that time already?), Peppermint Cats, to make a non-traditional anniversary card.  I think it worked!  This has become my new favorite layout, probably more than a little inspired by Jen Del Muro.

What you can’t see in the pic is all the sparkle from SHIMMERZ which we are loading into the site as we speak!  I originally ordered 15 colors, but the day after I received them, I ordered the remainder. These things are COOL!  We should have them up for the release, so I hope you’ll check them out.

Speaking of the release, there is always a party, and it will be held right HERE!  I hope you’ll join us tomorrow night at 9pm EST for some serious fun!

You also have one more day to enter for the blog candy!!!  Interested?  See THIS post!

I’ll be back tomorrow with more teasers!

MFTeaser time!

Howdy all!  Wednesday night marks our new release party, and we have all been having a blast with the new stuff!  I thought I’d show off a couple peeks today, and then a couple more tomorrow.  I made time this w/e to actually do some stamping, some successful and some not-so-much, but hey, I’m not complaining!  This card is made from one of the new sets, Christmas Owls, illustrated by Stephanie Fizer.  It’s paired up with paper and ribbon from the Chillin collection, which I LOVE!!

This card is made following the MFT sketch challenge on Thursday, and features A Scarf for Three, also by Stephanie Fizer.  I love her style, so stinkin’ adorable!!!  I used some digital paper from MFT, and the star sticky is from Jody’s sticky share.

So join us Wed night, from 9-11pm as unveil the new sets and products, and don’t forget to enter for an MFTreat on THIS post!

Oldie PLUS Goodie Friday…and MFTreat Time!

Good morning (here at least) it’s Friday!  I created this simple boxy bag, originated by Jody Morrow, for a make n take project we’re doing at a Rep show next month.  It was SO stinkin’ simple, I looked at it initially and thought it looked very complicated, but once I really started the process it came together in a jif. I used the Chill Out image from Annie LaPoint, and stamped it twice, once on white cs and once on pp.  I needed to create something you can replicate within 10 minutes, so a lot of coloring was not an option!  Inside I packed a Chill Out stamp, so at the end of the make n take this can be handed out as a door prize!

Today is Oldie PLUS Goodie Friday on the MFT SCS Forum, the challenge is an inspiration card, so check it out!  The PLUS Goodies part refers to the $5 gift certificate someone will win just for playing along today.

As the Oct 1st release draws near, it’s also time for an MFTREAT!!!!

Many months ago, Cindy Haffner emailed me asking if we could carry some kind of hard plastic case to house our MFT stamps.  I thought that sounded like a clever idea, and went to work finding a company to manufacture them, IN FULL COLOR!  I mean really, your MFT stamps are stylish, and deserve a home as fashionable as they are, right?  So no plain Jane case for us!  These will go on sale Wed night during the release, and we are incredibly excited about sharing them with all of you!  I will post next week with my labeling suggestions, and exactly how much you fit into one of these babies, but for now, let’s just play!

The MFTreat will consist of one storage box and TWO of the retiring sets of my choosing, both of which (and then some) will fit inside this storage box!

How is that for some good, clean fun!

Leave a numbered comment below and I’ll pull a winner Wed afternoon!!!

Pamela Harris is getting a Scor Pal!

And a Scor Mat!  Pam, email me at kim@mftstamps.com to let me know you are ready to have me send them out!  Pamela won these fabulous products in a random drawing to all who made purchases in support of the Alzheimer’s Association.  Pam, I hope you enjoy it!

The card in this post was made by none other than Stamp Owl herself!  It meets the current sketch challenge AND the Monday Who’s That Girl? challenge!

Cammie’s blog candy is still going on, tomorrow is the day she pulls a winner I believe, so if you haven’t participated yet there is still time!

I also modified the special below slightly, as apparently there are many MFT fans who already have all of our Halloween sets!  So, I modified it so that if you purchase any 3 sets, you can choose one of the sentiment sets in the post below.  If you purchase any 2 sets, you can choose from the MINI sets in the post below this one, and if you purchase 5 sets, well you can pick one of each!

Don’t add them to your cart, just list you free set choices in the comments box.

How exciting to have so many loyal fans, you guys ROCK!   And make this such a wonderful experience!
