Weekly Spotlight and First 3 Idols

Good morning all!  A BUNCH of you guys checked out the Bubble Bin, it was a crazy day yesterday!  I wanted to make sure you didn’t miss Michele’s Weekly Spotlight info, she created a precious Tea for Two card using the Summer Pack.  Yes, Tea is sold out again.  Criminy, I truly can’t keep that set in stock!  I order, they arrive, they’re bought, they leave, again and again.

As much as I would love to post pics of the First Three Idol Contestants, my blog and I are having a bit of a disagreement today.  So, I will post links instead!

LittleSeaOtter’s It’s a Jungle Out There

Stamps’nCoffee’s Idol Relax

Kerry J’s Interactive Tea for Two

I’ll be back soon with more Top Ten finalists!

Have you been to the Bin?

Today MFT introduces the BUBBLE BIN!

What’s the Bubble Bin? There are GREAT discounts on GREAT sets, for one week only.

Each Monday new sets will be added to the Bin and the current ones will be removed.

Some sets will rejoin the site at regular price and some will disappear forever.

In either case, check back each Monday to see what’s in the Bin for that week, and if there’s something you *need*, this might be your last chance!

I only have eye for YOU!

This is one of my most favorite cards ever!  I don’t know why, I just really like it.  I made it for hubster for Vday, and of course he loved it too (altho, I don’t think any recipient of a handmade card would say otherwise…).

I love one layer cards, but so often they don’t work out for me.  They are much trickier than they seem!

I hope you enjoyed our release Hop Around the Block, and I hope you’re completing your submissions for the MFT Idol contest!

With the New Release, also comes the chance to be the next Guest Designer.  You can check it out HERE!

I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but to the right hand side of this blog, there is now an area that says HTDT? (which stands for How’d They Do That?) and over time I’ll be adding more and more tutorials to that area.  My most recent one is on Peerless Watercolors, so I hope you’ll find it helpful.

On Monday, we’ll be revealing something new on the site called the Bubble Bin…any guesses?  It’s NOT embellishments…

Monsters Ink

Hooga Booga

Brilliance Black Ink

A Winner, a Teaser and an IDOL?

Hooga Booga, Chooga Looga, Hooga Booga, Hooga BoogaLoog….  I know this might sound like a bunch of jibberish, but it’s a little song I made up LONG ago for Emma.  I call her Hooga Booga, and so when Stephanie Fizer created these sweet little creatures for this set, that’s what we decided to name it!  Hooga Booga!  (Actually it was at Jody’s prompting, who said “What’s that nickname you always call Emma?”)

This Wednesday, we will be releasing our March sets, you can find out all the deets on THIS thread.  We will also have our Hop Around the Block starting Tuesday night at Midnight EST, so check it out!

The WINNER for our Good Samaritan Treat is….Dawn B.!!!  Please email me at kim@mftstamps.com!

Who wants to be the next MFT Idol?  Why you of course!  Check out this thread for lots of info and chatter, and when you’re ready to AUDITION, link your project HERE!

Hooga Booga (unreleased)

Summer Ribbon Pack

Summer Glitter Dot Adornments (unreleased)

A Good Samaritan MFTreat

At a recent church service, our Minister relayed the tale of the Good Samaritan, and although I’d heard the story before, I found myself quite touched.

I’ve also been thinking about a group of people in my life who were there for me in immeasurable ways during one of the roughest weeks of my recent life.

And on top of all of that, we’ve created a charity set that will be released next Wed with the March release.

So, with all of these things in combination, I wanted to do something to put a smile on someone’s face!

As stampers, there are TONS of people whose warmheartedness is demonstrated every day in some small and many not-so-small ways.

And while a little splurge and a few stamps won’t necessarily change the world, it can change a day, and sometimes a life.

We all know someone in the stamping community that could use a little perk right now.  Either through loss of income, family crisis, health challenge or any stressful situation.

Here’s what I am going to do – leave a numbered comment and nominate someone (no names are needed, only initials please) that you know is in *need* of a little photopolymer love, and on Monday I will choose one of the people you’ve listed as a random winner (I will email you for their contact info).  The person you nominated will receive a $50 MFT Stamp Shopping Spree OR the March Class in a BOX kit mentioned in the post below.

I will also give the person who left the comment (you) a pre-released Nite Nite Ellie set that will be released next Wednesday, March 4th!

‘Cause we can all use a little help…
