Introducing Die-namics! The new MFT PRODUCT!

We are starting Teasers one day early this month, with a very special announcement.  Stay tuned for a word from your sponsor…

My Favorite Things is thrilled to introduce Die-namics.  Our EXCLUSIVE, American made, line of steel dies that we are sure will be an essential ingredient in your paper crafting from THIS moment forward!

We have 3 cutting edge designs to offer this month, all of which are so timely and so HOT we’re not sure which you’ll want to grab first!  Well, really there’s no question, you’ll need all 3…

We will have a fair supply on hand for the release, although I’m beginning to suspect we won’t have near enough.  Should we sell out more quickly than anticipated, I will still have them available on the site, but it will list PRE-ORDER in the product description.  The remainder of your order will ship at once, and the Die-namics will ship as soon as they are back in stock.  I want to give everyone a chance to break new ground with My Favorite Things!

Today the Design Team has gone ABOVE & BEYOND.  Not only with their projects, also with tutorials, materials that are easily used with Die-namics and the plate stacks.  They have done all kinds of “testing” and have ensured that when your Die-namics arrive at your home, you will be ready to create!

One final note before I direct you to the Team Members previewing today… Die-namics dies would not be as fantastic as they are without the brilliance of the MFT Team Members.  Jody gave shape and direction to the dies, including the cloud idea, so make sure to thank her for her genius.  Carole “named” Die-namics and I can not imagine a more dynamic, cutting edge name could exist.  Jo has been instrumental in creating tutorials and in guiding the roll out of Die-namics, and few of her ideas for new dies are currently in production.  The remaining Team Members have not only given of themselves with amazing time and effort, but have come up with so many brilliant ideas that I can’t keep up!  A very serious and heartfelt pat on the back is due to the most amazing group of Ladies EVER.

Now dim the lights, and here we go!

FREEZE Frame Day 5

I am SO STINKIN’ thankful it’s FRIDAY!  Not because it brings the weekend, not because I’ve got two (yeah, right) days off, but because in just a short while your inboxes will be flooded with news about our BRAND NEW PRODUCT!!!

Until then, today marks the last FREEZE Frame day, and I’ve got 3 new sets to show off.  First up is Top Shelf, the May WTG set.  One of the cool things about this set is that with the accompanying images of cake, presents and bath/perfume bottles, this set will work for almost every gift giving occasion.  Birthdays – check.  Bridal Showers – check.  Baby Showers – check.  Mother’s Day – check.  Anniversaries – check…you get the picture!

Then, paired with Top Shelf Sentiments, you can truly personalize your cards!  LOVE these sets.  Seriously.

I love it when sets are versatile, and I can really get my money’s worth, and these two definitely have that in spades!

Third up is Thanks a Bunch, a concept by Joanne Basile.  There are so many occasions on which we need to say thank you, and this set truly has options for EVERY occasion we could think of!  Several font choices, most of which also coordinate with our Clearly Sentimental line, make this set not only versatile, but NECESSARY.

It pleases me no end to not only bring you the freshest artwork and ideas, but also to make those things useful, and fill a NEED.

And speaking of NEED…I’ll be back at 11am EST sharp with the most exciting news ever!

FREEZE Frame Day 4!

Happy Thursday all!  I am SO excited about today!  I get to show you 3 new sets, which is always great fun, but I also get to introduce you to our newest characters joining the MFT Family, both of which are near and dear to my heart.  (One is most especially dear having given birth and all…)

Emma is our youngest daughter, soon available in one-dimensional form, and Wyatt is Kirsten’s quite handsome son.

Last year, they both came for a visit and we took the kids to the zoo.  Emma & Wyatt were instantly smitten with one another!  They went pretend grocery shopping together, held hands, co-parented and STAMPED together.  It was so much fun to see!

Ever since then, I’ve been hoping for an Emma & Wyatt pair, and they are finally here!

Jolinne is simply beautiful for May and I know you’ll be delighted to see her in her new set, full sized!  Oh this month is KILLING me.  I am truly about to burst!

And let’s not forget about all those amazing MEN in our lives!  With Father’s Day coming up, our newest Clearly Sentimental set is perfect for all men.  Father’s, Husbands, Brothers, Uncles… get the picture.

See you tomorrow with our last FREEZE Frame, and then later tomorrow morning, the MOST EXCITING Teaser EVER!!!!

I must say, I always love first discovering customers using the latest goodies!! This sweet card uses the new Digi Paper which was just released last week. Isn’t the color combination here so cheery?

Even more new release goodness in this project, and by the way, this beauty was picked up on the Splitcoast Facebook page!!

How luscious is the color combination on this Pure Innocence My Umbrella

Mercy gives Boy and His Dog a spin, what a clever girl, she’s drawn in a tree trunk and some adorable grass too!

Goodness gracious! Cindy’s coloring on this PI girl is just killing me. Simply stunning!

Cassie brings some glamour to the kitchen with her Who’s That Girl, Lovin from the Oven stamp set. Check out the pearl accessories! So clever!

Now that Cassie has baked that cake, here’s Sonja to frost and present it to the birthday girl!

I adore this sweet card by Crystal, and I’ve now got to pull out this stamp set by Stephanie Fizer and give it another whirl, just perfect for upcoming teacher appreciation cards!

A sweet and Springy Pure Innocence from Dana with the Kioshi Basic Grey paper.

And while yes, it is the end of April, doesn’t this sweet snowman image make you smile? (I don’t want to see any snow in my yard right now, but it is still sweet on paper!) Sarah will will be ahead of of the game when it comes to Christmas cards!!

MFT Fabulous Friend Sharon Harnist

Happy Monday all!  I am thrilled at the Fabulous Friend joining us today is Sharon Harnist!!!  WOOT!  Be sure to check out her creation here, PLUS she has a little something to show you on HER blog as well.  You won’t want to miss it.

But, before I show off her amazing work, let’s get nosy!

What is your signature move?  Is there one style or technique that seems to adorn your every creation?

I’ve never known exactly what my style is!  I guess I usually lean more towards distressed / shabby chic / embellished rather than clean & simple one-layer things!  And of course I love to color – you’ll usually see some kind of coloring on my creations, so my Copic markers are always close!

What’s your favorite MFT set and why?

It’s hard to pin-point a specific set but the Pure Innocence and Jolinne collections are my favorites.  I adore these girls – probably because I’m Mom to two girls myself!

Any funny stamping stories?  Glitter mishaps??  SPILL!
Actually my oldest daughter, when she was about two, DID spill a whole jar of  Perfect Pearls powder!  Oh my goodness, she was covered in sparkle from head to toe and I was finding it EVERYWHERE for months!  Other than that, when I first started stamping, I swore I would never color images – I just wanted solid stamps I could stamp with one color!  I quickly got over that, once I tried coloring, LOL!   Also, when I first started trying to use Copic markers over three years ago (before there were so many online tutorials, education and Certification classes), I failed miserably with them!  I guess there’s something to be said for practicing, right?!!

What do you hoard?
I’m trying not to hoard too much of anything any longer because I have TONS of patterned paper I USED to do that with!  So now I’m really trying to use the new papers I get (they are a weakness of mine!), before they get too old and/or aren’t produced any longer!

Now… on to the eye candy!  Sharon created this project she dubbed “treasure box girl”.  Any mom knows that kids tend to collect “treasures” of all kinds, and Sharon had her daughter in mind when she created this gorgeous project.  It is made of matchboxes and can house anything from tiny treasures to bugs she finds.
