Last month’s Triple Scoop stamp set, Clearly Sentimental about Coffee will be available for individual purchase along with our October Release.

This month’s Triple Scoop Reward is titled Seasonal Sentiments. It includes eleven beautifully designed sentiments.

I’m so excited to introduce the Beautiful Bows Die-namics. This is a six piece Die-namics which you can use to build fabulous multi-layer bows from a variety of materials such as paper, fabric or felt.

You can see how to assemble the Beautiful Bows in THIS quick product video or simply click play below.

We’re also pleased to introduce the Framing Flourishes Die-namics.  This die creates elegant flourishes in two sizes.

You can see a quick product video for the Framing Flourishes HERE or simply click play below.

Have you tried our Metal Adaptor Plate? It helps your die-cutting machine cut more intricate designs such as the following designs from this release; Sunflower Die-namics, High-Rise Alphabet, and the Framing Flourishes Die-namics. You’ll find that when using the adaptor plate, paper pieces in the center pop out more easily, your die-cut is more easily removed, and you’ll find the increase in pressure makes your cuts even better. Some helpful tips include:
  • Break apart your Die-namics instead of cutting all at once to increase pressure in your machine
  • Use our metal adaptor plate for more intricate designs (or anytime you want extra pressure)

Up first, let’s look at Journal It – Top Ten. This is a 4×6 sized stamp set which you can use to stamp your own journaling block.  Note that the the numbers 1-10 come joined as a single stamp set, this means you’ll be able to easily line them up and stamp to your grid paper with a single impression. You’ll enjoy pairing this with the other new set this month Document It – December, or any number of other stamps in your collection.

You’ll also love all the thoughtful details built into Document It – December.  For added creative possibilities,  you can pair it with Journal It – Top Ten and the coordinating Die-namics that you’ll find information about just below.

Laina Lamb Designs will also be releasing some fantastic Die-namics sets built to coordinate with these two stamp sets.  The Die-namics will be sold separately.  Up first let’s peek at  Insert It  – 3×4 Die-namics. Create your own 3×4 sized journaling card from cardstock or patterned paper.

Find a quick video showcasing the Insert It 3×4 Die-namics HERE or you can simply click play below:

Here’s just two examples of how nicely this pairs with the two stamp sets we’re previewing today.

Pair elements from both of the new Laina Lamb Design stamp sets with the Accent It – Flags and Tags Die-namics. This is a nine piece Die-namics which you can use to create numerous custom accents for your cards, pages and projects.

Feature Friday – Vanity License Plate

Happy Friday!  I’m here to share a quick project using the Vanity License Plate Die-namics and Stamp Set.  It’s great for quick cards, which you can personalize for just abut any occasion.  Today I’ve got a card to share for what I consider to be the most difficult audiences, ‘tweener boys.  They’re too old for a “cutesy” type card and where ‘tween boys are considered, I have to also leave out my frilly accents, like bows and scallops.

I’m using one of my favorite new cardstock colors, Gumdrop Green which I’ve paired with Whip Cream Cardstock, a Black Licorice Button and our new Hemp Cord. It’s a fun substitute for my normal, fun fluffy bows.  I’ve grabbed my current favorite Die-namics, the Fishtail Flags STAX and went digging through my scrap bin for assorted pattern papers.

To get perfect placement every time, I like to line up my clean stamps on the die-cut beginning with the center position and moving out  towards the edges.  Then, I move just one letter at a time to the backside of the block, ink it, stamp it and then clean and remove it back to the other side of the block. I’ll then repeat for each letter, moving one letter at a time to the alternate side of the block, inking, stamping and then cleaning and moving over the next letter.  HERE is a quick video showing how I would combine the stamps with the Vanity License Plate Die-namics.

My first sample today was for a ten year old boy, but I’ve got a few other samples to share from our Design Team showing other ways to use this stamp set, and a few other fun sentiment ideas.

Here’s a few more ideas, but I encourage you have fun playing around to make your own unique ideas too!

Thanks for joining us today, have a wonderful weekend and we’ll see you next week.

Remember, teasers for our October Release start on Wednesday!

Today I’ve got a sample to share for my friend Beate’s Challenge – be sure to head on over to her challenge thread for all the details.  I’ve paired the Sew Nitfy Stamp set and Die-namics with the new Steel Grey Cardstock and Ribbon.  I wrapped the spool with Stone Twine.   The small tag was created with the Die-namics Traditional Tags STAX and finished off with a Pink Lemonade Button which was threaded with our new Hemp Cord. We hope to see you over on the Hope You Can Cling To section of Splitcoaststampers!

Feature Friday: Charmed

Today I wanted to share a peek at the Charms Die-namics.  If you haven’t seen these yet, then it’s time to take a closer look.  Currently My Favorite Things has five Die-namics Charms sets:  Sea Charms Die-namics, Tool Charms Die-namics, Halloween Charms Die-namics, Pet Charms Die-namics and the Country Charms Die-namics. For today’s project, I’m using the Country Charms Die-namics.  This is a set of four western themed dies.  The little star was just the accent I needed as the finishing touch on today’s project. I added it right in place using a bit of our new Hemp Cord.    This country gal was watercolored with Distress Ink Markers, and then I paper pieced her little vest from a bit of scrap paper. I’m using Sweet Tooth for my cardbase and then all my matting is with Black Licorice Cardstock.

Since we have an assortment of charms, how about a peek at a few samples using the other sets?

Jodi creates a fun sentiment & embellishment cluster by pairing the Halloween Charms with the Notched Tag.

Barbara hangs the Sea Charms Die-namics from a satin bow using a bit of twine on this sweet à la modes: You Anchor Me.

Inge pairs the Pet Charms Die-namics with the new PI: Prehistoric Girl for a clever sentiment treatment.

Jackie uses an assortment of Tool Charms for the perfect masculine embellishment.

I hope you’ve had a great week and that you’ve got something fun planned this weekend.  Personally, I’m hoping to get a lot of stamping in because the weather is not looking promising.  Does it make me terrible to be hoping for a day in my studio instead of a day on the soccer field?  Whatever your plans, have a great weekend, and we’ll see you next week!

25 New Patterned Paper Packs and a Happy Birthday Hoot!

Hi all!  Let me say first, in all caps because I’m yelling from exctiement, I’M STAMPING AGAIN!  Boy oh boy, has it been a LONG time, and I’m so excited to have a little studio filled with crafty goodness to call my own. First things first, you will be thrilled to know that we’ve just finished loading 25 new patterned paper packs into the store.  You can find them all HERE.  Jody and I decided it would be fun to have a selection of the *newest* papers available for you.  We will be adding new papers very frequently, but won’t be reordering as they sell out, so if there’s something you love, grab it while it’s in stock.

Now that you’re salivating over all that yumminess, I made a little card featuring the new MME Hootenanny 6×6 pad. I played along with this weeks MFT Sketch Challenge, which you can find out about (and play along with!) right HERE.  I used the PI Owl Costume stamp set and the Award Seal Die-namics, along with Orange Fizz, Blue Raspberry, Hot Fudge, and Kraft card stock colors. Once I popped on my Orange Fizz Buttons, I was all set! Last weekend Jody, Brianna, and I got to spend some time with Colleen Schaan taking the Copic Intermediate class and I’ve been itching to color all week long.  Here’s a little close-up of my Owl Costume girl.  She is SOOOO much fun to color! Here’s one more close-up, at a different angle. Thanks so much for joining me, and have an amazing Monday!
