Happy Monday! I hope everyone had an amazing and relaxing weekend and are ready to take on a SUPERCHARGED week!
I’m back today with a new Fabulous Friend, and one I had the pleasure of meeting over the winter at the CHA Supershow in CA. She is ADORABLE. I wish I’d had time to just hang out and chat with her more because I just loved her!
Let’s learn a bit more about Dawn before I show off her incredible samples!
What is your signature move? Is there one style or technique that seems to adorn your every creation?
It’s funny when people ask what my style is and I’m never quite sure what to say. Although I do get comments saying that they knew it was my card immediately in the SCS gallery! LOL! If I had to pick something, I’d say it’s that I make cards that contain many layers. I used to paper pierce a lot and still do but I’ve started to move to sewing now. It’s all the rage and I thought it was time I hopped on that bandwagon Just don’t look too closely at my stitches, they need work! Ha!
What’s your favorite MFT set and why?
You seriously, want me to pick just one? Do you know that I just went on a roadtrip with some girlfriends to a scrapbooking store (1.5 hours away) just so I could get new MFT stamps?! I love them all! I’ve always loved the Who’s That Girl line though. There is something about her that we can all relate to. Everyone that I’ve given a card to using those images, just loves them! The new Pure Innocence line is fast becoming a fave of mine too! She’s just adorable and so fun to colour with copics!
Any funny stamping stories? Glitter mishaps?? SPILL!
Well I’m not known for having the tidiest stamping space. Just ask my daughter! LOL! I call her down to the basement to help me find my tape, foam dots, ink pads or whatever it is that I happen to be missing at that time. She almost always finds it right in front of me…ha! I don’t think I can stamp a card without making a mess. It’s amazing that I don’t spend more than 30 minutes with all my issues…lol
Please take a moment and hop over to Dawn’s BLOG and let her know just how much we appreciate her sharing her tie and talen with all of us!
