Please join us in welcoming Marion Vagg to the blog today! She’s created a delightful birthday card perfect for any number of recipients – it would make a fantastic addition to your collection of those cards you’re saving for a rainy day or a last-minute emergency (we’ve all been there!) Thank you Marion for sharing this lovely card with us!

Handmade birthday card from Marion Vagg featuring Build-able Blooms from Miss Tiina.

Hello. I am very honoured to be guest designing on the My Favorite Things blog today. I love the big and bold Birthday Wishes sentiment from the Birthday Chalkboard Greetings set. To make it stand out I made a chalkboard panel using the Stitched Rectangle STAX and white heat embossed the sentiment onto it. I also added some white ink to make the chalkboard panel look more authentic. To add some pop of colour, I created some clusters of flowers using the Build-able Blooms stamp set and coordinating Die-namics. I added lots of dimension by popping up some of the flowers around the focal panel.
