Make a Decorative Bracket-Shaped Card Base with Our Album STAX Die-namics

Yesterday, we showed you how to create a cloud-shaped card, if you missed it you can view that post HERE. Today, we are using the Mini Album Bracket STAX Die-namics to create a decorative shaped card. This same technique can be used with any of our Album STAX Die-namics, so let your mind wander and get creative with your collection of dies. SEPTEMBER MFT Hello 5 Cut a piece of card stock to 5 1/2″ x 11″, fold in half, and score at 5 1/2″. Place the card stock on the cutting plate. Place largest die from the Mini Album Bracket STAX Die-namics onto card stock (did you know the largest dies in our Album STAX are 5″?). Align the straight edge with the fold line, but make sure to keep your scored card stock slightly inside the die.  Secure with removable tape and place the cutting plate on top of the die. Run the stack through your die-cut machine. SEPTEMBER MFT Hello 1 We’ve flipped the card stock upside down to give you a look at how much space to leave when you put the die in place. SEPTEMBER MFT Hello 2 Remove the die and voila, you have a fabulous shaped card! SEPTEMBER MFT Hello 3 Adding a layer to your card is easy with our STAX Die-namics. Cut a piece of card stock using the next size down in the set of STAX. Alter the edges of your accents with your Die-namics to allow everything to fit together perfectly. Die-cut a banner or flag using your favorite die. Cut the piece again by aligning with the same die used to cut the layer panel. Your banner or flag will line up perfectly with the shaped layer. SEPTEMBER MFT Hello 4 Decorate the card with your favorite MFT stamps. SEPTEMBER MFT Hello 5
