Learn How to Document Your Special Events with a Made-from-Scratch Mini Album

Yesterday, in THIS post, we shared a tutorial for making a Post-it® Note Holder. Today, we will show you how to use the same basic technique to create a mini album. Mini albums are the perfect way to document a special vacation or event.

Step 1: Cut one piece of Sweet Tooth Card Stock to 6″ x 6″. Cut four pieces of Kraft Card Stock to 6″ x 7 1/2″.

Step 2: Score all four pieces of Kraft Card Stock at 6″. Then, score one piece of Kraft Card Stock at 6 3/8 “, one piece at 6 1/2″, one piece at 6 1/4″, and the last piece at 6 1/8″.

Step 3: Apply strong adhesive to the outermost section of each card stock flap. Use the Sweet Tooth Card Stock as the base and adhere the Kraft pieces in a clockwise direction. Start with the smallest scored line (6 1/8″) and end with the biggest.

Step 4: Now that your mini album base is built, you can embellish the inside pages as desired. Use different papers, stamps, Die-namics, photographs, and memorabilia to customize your mini album. Get creative!

This is fantastic!! Awesome idea for gift giving to family from past events. I will especially have to try this for the Holidays coming up.
