Happy Holidays from Raluca
Today we’re welcoming back Raluca Vezeteu as our guest, and she has four fantastic products to share! Let’s check out how she was inspired by our October release!
Hi MFT lovers! So happy to be back with another post, and I hope that I’ll inspire you with my projects.
This time I have prepared four cards — three Christmas cards and one clean and simple floral card — using products from the October release. I’m trying to redeem myself for sharing only one card in my last blog post! 🙂
For my first card I played with the Deer Friends stamp set and Die-namics. My idea behind the card was to create a modern winter scene using classic Christmas colors: red, green, and gold. To create the background, I stamped the Bold Diagonal Stripes Background in red on my card base front. Next, I die cut a panel using the Stitched Rectangle Scallop Edge Frames Die-namics, and on the interior piece I added some gold glitter stars with the Starry Sky – Vertical stencil. Then I stamped, colored, and die cut the images, and die cut some snow hills to add at the bottom using the Stitched Snow Drifts Die-namics. Finally, I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment.
For my second card I used the Deer Friends stamp set and Die-namics again, but this time I stamped the solid deer stamp. My idea behind this card was that I wanted to create a shaker card using some blue and teal sequins. The first step was to prepare the front panel. I wanted a longer window for the shaker and using the partial die cutting technique with the Inside & Out Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics, I was able to make the window longer. For coloring the inside piece I used a few distress inks, and I stamped and heat embossed in white one of the trees from the set. I added some red pearls as ornaments and then filled the shaker with blue, teal, and clear sequins and beads. I mounted the deer on some foam tape, and finally I stamped the sentiment under the shaker.
For my third card I stamped trees from the Deer Friends stamp set all over my Kraft card base using watermark ink, and then I heat embossed the trees white. Next, I die cut two squares from the Stitched Square Scallop Edge Frames Die-namics, and I added vellum behind them. For the smaller square, I stamped the sentiment on a red strip of card stock and for the bigger square I die cut for you from gold glitter paper using the Peaceful Greetings Die-namics. As a finishing touch, I added a few clear sequins.
And for my last card, I played with the gorgeous Stitched Flowers Die-namics. I die cut the flowers from white card stock and colored them with distress inks using the ink blending technique. Then I die cut a rectangle with the Stitched Rectangle Scallop Edge Frames Die-namics from gold card stock and mounted it on my white card base using foam tape. I stamped a sentiment from the All Occasion Sentiments stamp set and added a few white pearls on the flowers and under the sentiment as a finishing touch.
These are the cards for today! I had so much fun playing with all of these gorgeous products, and I still can’t believe that I was an MFT guest designer. Thank you, thank you, thank you so much MFT family for this amazing honor and joy, and thank you everyone for supporting me and my talent. You all rock!
Have a lovely day!
