Fresh Florals from Debbie

Debbie Olson is joining us on the blog this month with three fabulous guest spots. I know it’s not even Christmas but I’ve got some springtime crafting in mind now. Bring on the sun!

Good morning! I’m happy to be playing with some lovely MFT stamps again this week! How about some flowers today?

Handmade card from Debbie Olson featuring Mini Modern Blooms

I think I’m in love with Mini Modern Blooms—so many possibilities! And the Distressed Patterns set? This one could become an addiction! My sentiment is from Label Maker Sentiments.

I found the Mini Modern Blooms pretty easy to align with their coordinating dies, and I’m a little stamping-on-die-cuts-challenged. So if I can do it, anybody can!

On the inside I used a few more blossoms, along with that Distressed Patterns stamp. The birthday sentiment is from Birthday Greetings.

Handmade card from Debbie Olson featuring Tropical Flowers

And if flowers weren’t fun enough, I thought I’d play with PINK too! Here I’ve used the Tropical Flowers set and the coordinating Tropical Flowers Die-namics. The sentiment is from Tickled Pink.

I first stamped a floral flat panel, and then added some dimension with the die-cut tropical flowers and leaves and foam tape.

I dotted my flower centers with Glossy Accents for a touch of shine. With all of these flowers to play with, I can almost pretend that it isn’t cold and dreary outside today. . . almost!

Are you getting a Lily Pulitzer vibe from Debbie’s second card like I am? Gorgeous! Be sure to tag #mftstamps when you share your project on social media – we’re always on the looking for more fabulous projects featuring My Favorite Things.
