Feature Friday: Charmed

Today I wanted to share a peek at the Charms Die-namics.  If you haven’t seen these yet, then it’s time to take a closer look.  Currently My Favorite Things has five Die-namics Charms sets:  Sea Charms Die-namics, Tool Charms Die-namics, Halloween Charms Die-namics, Pet Charms Die-namics and the Country Charms Die-namics.

For today’s project, I’m using the Country Charms Die-namics.  This is a set of four western themed dies.  The little star was just the accent I needed as the finishing touch on today’s project. I added it right in place using a bit of our new Hemp Cord.    This country gal was watercolored with Distress Ink Markers, and then I paper pieced her little vest from a bit of scrap paper. I’m using Sweet Tooth for my cardbase and then all my matting is with Black Licorice Cardstock.

Since we have an assortment of charms, how about a peek at a few samples using the other sets?

Jodi creates a fun sentiment & embellishment cluster by pairing the Halloween Charms with the Notched Tag.

Barbara hangs the Sea Charms Die-namics from a satin bow using a bit of twine on this sweet à la modes: You Anchor Me.

Inge pairs the Pet Charms Die-namics with the new PI: Prehistoric Girl for a clever sentiment treatment.

Jackie uses an assortment of Tool Charms for the perfect masculine embellishment.

I hope you’ve had a great week and that you’ve got something fun planned this weekend.  Personally, I’m hoping to get a lot of stamping in because the weather is not looking promising.  Does it make me terrible to be hoping for a day in my studio instead of a day on the soccer field?  Whatever your plans, have a great weekend, and we’ll see you next week!

Nice cards! Like the coloring, papers, stitching … so much detail. The charms really do add a “special” touch to each card. :)

Gorgeous creations as always. You MFT gals are awesome!! Your talent amazes me. You usually do not use an abundance of fancy embellishments yet your creations are always so stunning…..crisp and polished looking. Really inspiring and refreshing to see. I have said it before and I will say it again; the MFT DT is one of the best I have ever seen. Love ya’ll!

You are my inspiration, I have few blogs and very sporadically run out from post :). “He who controls the past commands the future. He who commands the future conquers the past.” by George Orwell.
