Fab Friend Keri Sereika!

Happy Monday!  I’m excited to have Keri join us today, she is one of the very first people who designed with MFT Stamps, and kind of introduced me to the role of Concept Designer!  When I think back to MFT’s beginnings, I am so completely amazed to be HERE. right now, with a flourishing Company.  I literally get teary eyed, and am truly filled with gratitude.

Before I show off Keri’s SUPER amazing project, let’s get nosy!

What is your signature move?  Is there one style or technique that seems to adorn your every creation?
I don’t think I have a signature move or style…yet somehow people seem to recognize my work – what do you think is my signature style? LOL

What’s your favorite MFT set and why?
I just love the new Clearly Sentimentals line. I know that is alot of sets but I just love words and I feel like you always need your card or project to “say” just the right thing, the more sentiments available the better I say!

Any funny stamping stories?  Glitter mishaps??  SPILL!
I once had a “glue malfunction”. I had tried out Scotch Quick Dry Tacky Adhesive. It’s a nice white glue that dries clear and holds WONDERFULLY! Well one day as I tried to apply some glue, nothing came out. So I looked at the tip of it and noticed a bit of dried glue stuck in the tip – just out of reach when poking it with a needle…sooooo I decided to squeeze the bottle until it came out. I was squeezing and squeezing when “POP!” off popped the top of the glue bottle, out shot glue EVERYWHERE. It was in my hair, on my face, on my shirt, on my jeans….yeah…that was fun times….

What do you hoard?
I don’t really hoard. I use it and then when I am done with it, I pass it on to someone who will use it more! :) My local scrapbook store (Charleston Scrapbooking) has a wonderful semi annual “yard sale” where we can all bring our “gently loved” product to find a new home…it’s a great way to get rid of product that just needs someone else’s magic creative touch.

Check out Keri’s wonderful project using Harvesting Who’s That Girl.  She used a DIGI paper pack and printed on the coffee filter that adorns the jar lid!

Please make sure to pop by Keri’s BLOG and tell her thanks so much for sharing her talent!
