Creative Construction: Lots of Love for Blueprints

We love Blueprints because they take the guesswork out of crafting beautiful cards in quick fashion when we’re short on time or inspiration. We also love them for their versatility and ability to be mixed and matched when we have the time and inspiration to create something truly unique. Our Creative Construction Challenge focuses on these attributes each month, challenging the team to either assemble a card based on one of the provided Blueprints sketches or design an original card combining elements from the featured Blueprints.

Did you know you can find ALL of our printable Blueprints sketches in one spot? Our Printable Resources section over there in the sidebar is packed with handy reference materials including Blueprints. Tag Builder Blueprints make quick work of crafting gift tags and card accents. Whether you use the provided sketches or let your imagination run wild, they’re the perfect solution for custom looks in a hurry. We love love year-round but with the traditional season of love quickly approaching, this month’s Creative Construction with Blueprints is the perfect opportunity to showcase how Blueprints can be used to create gorgeous Valentine-themed tags.

Handmade Valentine tags from Julie Dinn featuring Tag Builder Blueprints 5 #mftstamps

Julie chose the Love You More stamp set and latest Tag Builder Blueprints 5 Die-namics to craft these stitched and layered delights. A classic black, white, and pink color combo is balanced by kraft elements on each design.

Handmade Valentine tags from Francine Vuilleme featuring Tag Builder Blueprints 3 and 5 #mftstamps

Francine chose to mix and match stamped elements from several sets for her bold trio. This set also demonstrates a fantastic way to incorporate a traditionally Christmasy color palette into other seasons and holidays.
