Welcoming our March Guest Designer!

Each month, we hold a Guest Designer Contest as part of the New Release Preparations.  The winner receives over $200 in merchandise from the following month’s product release.  The real fun begins though when the winner joins us for our weekly Wednesday Stamp Club challenge and Teaser Time for our upcoming release!

This month’s challenge was to Hit the Books! In reviewing the many beautiful entries this month, one particular entry really stood out. It was not only book themed, the creator designed and completed an entire mini book.  Many products from My Favorite Things were combined into one cohesive project. I’m sure you’ll agree… this entry was lovingly created with spectacular detail!

This month we are welcoming back a repeat winner, Angel Rivera! Please stop by Angel’s blog to see all all of her interior pages of her Happy Anniversary Brown Bag Book and to congratulate her on her big win!  Angel will be joining us beginning with this week’s Wednesday Stamp Club.   Congratulations Angel!

Our Favorite Find – February

Tomorrow I’ll have our latest round of Favorite Finds, featuring five of the outstanding cards created by our customers this week.  Tonight though, I’m here to announce our very Favorite Find for the month of February. At the end of the month (or perhaps sometimes, the beginning of the next…) we award our Favorite Find to one project that we’ve simply fallen in love with.

Today, please stop by to congratulate Bonnie with her beautiful á la modes: Genie.  You can find Bonnie’s original post here on her blog The Lucky Clucker.  This sweet genie was created for one of our Wednesday Stamp Club challenges, are you playing along with us each week? MFT’s February Teaser Time: Day Six

Welcome to day SIX of Teasers for our upcoming release here at My Favorite Things.  If you’re just joining us, be sure to check back for our first five days of previews…  Our latest stamps and Die-namics dies will be available Tuesday night at 10pm EST. We hope you’ll join us first for our monthly New Release Party on Splitocast Stampers from 8-10pm EST.

Today’s the day that we preview our newest Pure Innocence images, we have the first two, Blowing Bubbles and Violin Girl which were available mid month as part of VIP Collection.  That collection sold out so quickly, so I’m sure many of you will be anxious to have them back in stock!

This month’s Pure Innocence characters pay homage to

firefighters in Firefighter Boy and Firefighter Girl.

And of course, who wouldn’t fall in love with this

Purrfect Pure Innocence?

Die-namics Previews:

Today let’s take a close look at the new Botanical Beauty Die-naimcs. I’ve seen our designers using this six piece Die-namics in several ways this week.  I’ve seen all six pieces put together, I’ve also seen multiples of the smaller layers.  This Die-namics includes a triple layered center bloom which creates spectacular texture and detail on your projects.  Create beautiful flowers to match your project from felt, fabric, cork, patterned paper…   The largest flower measures 2.3 inches in diameter, scaling down to the smallest flower measuring 1.6 inches in diameter.

The layers coordinate beautifully whether you’re
layering them directly on top of each other,
or if you’re staggering them slightly.

Guest Designer Contest:

Don’t forget that you have until Tuesday at noon EST to submit your entry in this month’s Guest Designer Contest. It is your chance to win a prize package valued at over $200 in merchandise from our following month’s release. The winner will also join the Design Team for the month of February participating in our weekly Wednesday Stamp Club and Teaser Time for next month’s release. You’ll find all the details HERE.
