Print Anchors aweigh! Our Let’s Get Nautical Die-namics is the ideal starting point for a nautically inclined card. Use the large circle die to create the perfectly sized card-front window to frame with the porthole element. Our Go Overboard stamps are designed to complement this die set and many images are a perfect fit for the window. The holes detail in the porthole element provides a fantastic embellishment opportunity – add gems, brads, or back with contrasting card stock. The life preserver includes emboss lines as a subtle detail but also provides guidance for perfect placement of the optional bands. The anchor can be used as interactive charm element that adds movement to the card.

Navigate your way over HERE to see how to make some waves with the Let’s Get Nautical Die-namics, or, simply play the video below.

The Go Overboard stamps coordinate with the Let’s Get Nautical Die-namics for shipshape cards even the staunchest landlubber will flip for. Like a ship nestled safely in harbor, this collection of sentiments will promote comfort and calm. The coordinating images will add a nautical flair creating sea-worthy designs for a variety of occasions. Use the rope border to create a frame for photos or card panels and steer your way to the finish line with the included compass and captain’s wheel.

Watercolor Backdrops will create a gorgeous and dreamy base for stamped images and sentiments without the mess, extra tools, and requisite dry time. Get the ethereal look of watercolor paint by keeping it simple with a single stamped image, or, by layering multiple images for colors that blend and merge in a stunning haze.

Our Waves stencil is the perfect choice for creating a watery background for some of the fun nautical products we have this release. Soft texture can be achieved by using the stencil for embossing. Or, consider using this stencil to make a rolling scalloped edge.

Our Four Corners Die-namics includes four ornate corner pieces ready to pretty up your cards, photos, and projects. Who says they’re just for corners though? Make a scene with the new Chandelier Die-namics. This exquisite die will be the star of any project you add it to. Drama and glamour are guaranteed whether you use it alone as the centerpiece of your design or use in conjunction with other elements to create a tableau. Center within a hole cut from your card front and let it twist and turn in the breeze. Or, create striking ornaments by layering the die cuts to strengthen them or even by adding a slit in the pieces to slide them together to form a 3 dimensional design. Because of the intricate nature of this design, we recommend using our Metal Adapter Plate for perfect cuts every time.

See the Chandelier Die-namics up close and personal HERE or by playing the following video.

Use this set to tuck subdued sans serif phrases in amongst fun script statement words to devise an endless array of unique sentiments guaranteed to delight and prove to your recipient just how much they are thought of. You can’t go wrong with classic stripes. The 5.75″ square rubber Striped Background stamp will immediately become a go-to classic for stampers and card makers. Stick with stripes or rotate the stamp for a sweet gingham look. Tone-on-tone subtlety or in your face contrast; vertical or horizontal; die cut stripes or stamped sentiments – we are so thrilled with all of the ways you can use this stamp!

Print

Life-Saver

I paired my Striped Background stamp with elements from the Blueprints 12 and Let’s Get Nautical Die-namics, along with a sentiment from our upcoming Go Overboard stamp set.  I added some thick twine around the life saver to add some texture and I just love how bold this card turned out.  I added a TON of reinker to my Nightshift Blue ink pad before stamping, which made the background mottled and weathered looking.  If I’d wanted a more even tone, I would’ve allowed the ink time to fully absorb and settle into the pad.

Our Design Team continues to work hard to showcase all of our new releases. Show them you appreciate their efforts by checking out their blogs and leaving them some love! Blueprints 12 is a fourteen piece Die-namics set. This clever design allows you to layer elements or piece them together like a puzzle to easily create square cards or multicolored A2 cards. A stitching detail unites the pieces while flower elements, with included centers and leaves, lend a feminine, floral touch to the set. Using the largest circle die to create a peek-a-boo hole will result in a ring of stitches on your card front and a stitched circle element to use as a layer or as a starting point for your next project. The included banner and fishtail flag provide the perfect spot to add a sentiment.

When you make a card for someone, you want them to know and remember how special they are. If you use the new Forget Me Not stamps and Die-namics from Lisa Johnson Designs, you’re guaranteed to be remembered for your thoughtfulness and generosity. This set will produce die cuts ideally sized to help you position your stamps while leaving a small, even white border around your images – perfectly posh posies every time! A combination of flowers, stems, and leaves will allow you the freedom to create a new arrangement with each new card while sentiments featuring a mix of a sweet script and a typewriter style font will complete the look.

Shower your next card with dainty blossoms using the new Spring Flower stencil. Use your inks or mists to add a pop of color, or emboss to add subtle texture.

Forget-Me-Not

I decided to make a one layer card using Lisa’s beautiful new set. I achieved the look by stamping the stems and flowers in Whip Cream ink before adding the Kraft and Bubblegum ink on top.  I ADORE the soft, shadow effect this creates, and just love this technique.

This month, we are so pleased to have the delightful Gayatri Murali join us as our Guest Designer. She has created some incredible projects with our new releases – you won’t want to miss a single one! Find her here each day of the release and on her blog.
