Such a fun card! I really love that suggestion for getting the soft green color – I don’t often think about combining my distress ink colors to get a new “improved” color. Great idea!

Does anyone know the sandwich for embossing with a Big Shot? Is it the same as the Cuttlebug? Thanks.

Hi Beverly! I did some research and figured out what the sandwich is to emboss with the Big Shot! Here’s what I found:

      TOP
      • Cutting Clear Plate
      • Wafer Thin Die (cutting side to paper for an
embossed ridge or cutting side up for raised
      solid area)
      • Paper
      • 2 Spellbinders Tan Embossing Pads
      • 2-3 pieces of cardstock shim
      • Multi-Purpose Platform with all tabs closed
      BOTTOM

Hope this helps and that you get a chance to give it a try!!

Thanks, Karolyn. I had looked and looked but couldn’t find an explanation I was comfortable with. I had tried this embossing before and done something wrong and it cut my mat into little pieces. So I was scared to mess up again but I did it, and it worked. Project to follow:) Thanks so much.

I am having a lot of fun participating in all of the projects this week! I do not have a manual die cut machine (I am a silhouette cameo owner), so I do not have dies to try dry embossing with. Is there another way I can do this so I can earn today’s badge? Thanks!
