Our Favorite Find – May

Oh how I love treating all of you to a little eye candy created by our truly outstanding customers each Thursday, but the last day of the month is really the greatest because we get to shower ONE particular fan with our affection – and of course a little prize money too.  Each week our Design Team scours blogland and online galleries and nominate projects for Our Favorite Finds. You’ll want to tune in each week to see if YOUR project has been featured.

Today I’m thrilled to share this beauty with you from Iwona (a.k.a Chupa!)  I love that she’s using one of the very first Pure Innocence images that we released – her paper piecing is spectacular, as is her amazing coloring!  That fun vintage trim, and her clever use of staples to attach it. What a beautiful project!

Be sure to stop by her beautiful blog Random Acts of Creativity (remember the ClipMarks above will take you directly to her blog) and leave her a little love! Be sure to congratulate her on being MFT’s Favorite Find for the month of May. Iwona has won a $15 gift certificate – just perfect timing with a new release around the corner!

Happy Thursday!  Today’s the day that I get to share with you some of the amazing projects that our Design Team has uncovered in the last week from our outstanding customers.  It is always such a joy to see the beautiful projects that you all design!  And already, I’m starting to see projects using elements from our recent May release! I LOVE that!

Remember that every Thursday we’ll have some treasures to share with  you – and that each of the clipmarks below will bring you directly to the artist’s blog or online gallery! Grab a cup of coffee and lets get started……

I love Iwona’s project with Pure Innocence: My Balloon! Just look at her stunning color combo, this gorgeous shadowing and what a fantastic layout….

Sarah inspires us again with her stunning monochromatic project using I Love You With All My Heart she’s totally nailed the technique, this is amazing!

Joycelyn creates a card for National Chocolate Chip Day – wait a minute, I missed that holiday?!? Please pass the chips! I love the bold colors and fabulous shading on this card using How Sweet It Is!

Stephanie has such a vibrant color palette, this just brings such a smile to my face! You’ll recognize the layout from our Wednesday Stamp Club challenge – I love the bright white on her Die-namic Fishtail Banner and her Pure Innocence: Pucker Up is simply perfectly colored!

What a fabulous take on our weekly sketch from Jenny, I love the way she’s added the sentiment to the Fish Tail Die-namics banner and her truly marvelous coloring on Jolinne Once Upon a Time!

Our Favorite Finds!

Can I just say, this is one of my favorite features to write here on the blog?  I love spending some time each week combing through the MFT Gallery on Splitcoast, and perusing links that our amazing Design Team has uncovered each week.  Its always warms my heart to see you loving our stamps and Die-namics.  And it brings me great pleasure to highlight just a few of these projects for you each week. Grab a cup of coffee or tea, and settle in to enjoy some of the treasures we’ve found this past week!  Remember that each of these clips will take you directly to the creator’s blogs so you can leave them a little MFT love!

How clever is this? Broni quite literally colors outside the lines creating this tiny canvas for our Pure Innocence: You Color My World to paint upon!

Jenny celebrates Mother’s Day by getting a little inky! She’s done a marvelous job with Flapperdoodles Hold Me Tight

I haven’t seen this stamp inked up in a while, and it sure is one of my favorites. Tara has a project simply lush with layers using Who’s That Girl: Baby Bump as well as both the Jumbo Scallop and Scalloped Scallops Die-namics. She’s perfectly paper pieced, right down to her tiny pattern paper leggings!

Inge at BlogBlom does a supply swap with our Design Team Member Inge -using I Get a Kick Out of You.  If you click on over to her blog, you’ll find a photo of the darling  assortment of supplies she received on her blog, but just look at how sweetly it all came together with this adorable paper piecing, fun tag treatment in the pocket etc. So fun!

Sarah shows that a card with no coloring can still be totally spectacular.  Sarah surely is a master at mixing and matching our various Die-namics… just look she’s paired Rolled Roses along with our Polka Dot Greetings Die-namic and mixed in the sentiment from Clearly Sentimental About Success.  It is all sitting atop our Dizzy Doily Die-namic. Love all those layers!

Hope you’ve enjoyed all these drool-inducing projects as much as we have! See you next Thursday with another set of gems from our customers!
