My Favorite Things proudly introduces the addition of our new line of Clear Stamps and Die-namics dies, Laina Lamb Design!

Laina has been working behind the scenes since 2010 as the primary graphic designer for our Die-namics dies and coordinating stamps. She will now be designing her own exclusive line of stamps and dies. Laina is a storyteller at heart. She enjoys making pages and mini albums to document her family’s life. Her work has been published in several magazines and she is a regular contributor to Creating Keepsakes Magazine.

Laina’s first stamp set and Die-namics dies will be revealed on October 11 during our October Release Teasers and will be available for purchase on October 16 at 10 PM EST. Until then, make sure you follow her blog, lifeonthelam(b), to be inspired by her fabulous work.

Thanks so much for joining us for our September Release here at My Favorite Things.  This week we’ve added lots of new Stamps and Die-namics dies to our collection.  If you missed our week long Teaser Time, why not take a moment to check out all that’s new?

Hi MFT fans and guest designer hopefuls! It’s time for the next MFT Guest Designer Contest. The winner of this contest will win over $200 in stamp sets and Die-namics, AND have the opportunity to play along with the design team for the next release and all the Wednesday Stamp Club Challenges for the next month. MFT always has amazing stamp sets around the corner and getting (and stamping with) them early is a special treat.

This month, Joanne and Jody are challenging you to Get Sketchy. Yep, that’s right… we are providing a sketch for you this month! You may enter as many times as you would like, but you may enter ONLY a CARD. One card per entry.

We’re looking for well-executed cards and great technical work. Ready for the challenge? Here are the details:

Guest Designer Contest Details:

-Cards must feature MFT stamps, but are not strictly limited to MFT products. The use of Die-namics is encouraged.

-The deadline for entries is October 8th at 12pm EST.

-When uploading your entries to the Gallery at SplitcoastStampers, please use the keyword MFTGUESTDT1012. You will find the keyword also on the sketch attached below. (you enter the code in the keyword box during the upload process)

-Joanne and Jody will review all the entries and choose a winner. The winner will be announced at the Release Party at around 9:15 pm EST on Monday, October 9th.

-The winner will receive a selection of stamps and Die-namics from the next release with a value over $200. You’ll also join the MFT Design Team for that month!

As winner of the guest designer contest, we ask that you participate in 3 (of 5) teaser days as well as the release blog hop. You must have a blog in order to win the guest designer contest. Please leave a link to your blog with your entry in the gallery.

Here are some tips:

1.) Take a GREAT picture of your project.

2.) When posting on your blog, show us how YOU will represent MFT should you win the contest.

3.) Put effort into your card. The prize is HUGE and the honor is HUGE.

Welcome to the fifth day of Teasers for our upcoming September Release. Today we’ll be sharing previews created with the new à la Modes stamp set!

Here are the details about the upcoming release:

• You can attend the New Release Party on September 10 from 8-10 PM EST HERE in the MFT forum, where you can WIN PRIZES!

Each day, we take a close look at one of the soon to be released Die-namics dies.  Today we’re excited to present the Die-namics Flower Medley.  Mix and match the eight blooms in our Flower Medley Die-namics to create fun, dimensional blooms.

This week, we’ve already taken a look at the full collection of MFT Ribbons, and all of our new color coordinated felt! While you’re preparing for the release, be sure to check out all the full assortment of MFT Buttons.  Our exclusive, hand-dyed buttons perfectly coordinate with our card stock and ribbon colors.
